Bow Employment is an employment and HR consultancy based in Oxfordshire founded from a desire to work with small and medium sized enterprises, where I think I can deliver the most impact.
Whether you’re just starting out or navigating the challenges of growth, I understand that this is a space of excitement – yet it is also filled with challenges. Being a leader can be overwhelming, no one has the time or experience to manage everything all at once. That’s hopefully where I can come in.
I am deeply committed to making meaningful impact. As an employment solicitor (Pitmans now Broadfield and Deloitte), Senior HR professional (University of Oxford) and trustee for a medium sized charity (One-Eighty Ltd) I understand that the most successful enterprises are those that cultivate engaged and enthusiastic people.
Bow is more than just a name to me. It is the middle name and nickname of my daughter. A constant reminder of the lessons that parenthood has taught me – lessons that now shape the way I work.
Empathy, kindness, being non-judgemental and recognising that we were all kids once – new to something, and we’re going to make mistakes. Parenthood also taught me resilience, perseverance, and, perhaps most importantly, how to get through difficult interactions on two hours of sleep with a picture of a gorilla stuck to my back. These qualities underpin my approach to working with SMEs.
It’s a cliché to say that people are an organisation’s most important asset, but it’s undeniably true. Investing in your team isn’t just a ‘nice to have’—it’s the foundation of long-term success. My goal is to provide high-quality, practical employment law and HR advice at a fraction of the cost of a law firm or in-house HR team, ensuring that you get the best value for your investment.
At Bow Employment, I’m here to help you create a workplace where your people—and business—can truly thrive.
